Avatarify is a free app for Android that lets you animate your best photos so that you appear to be lip-syncing to a song. You can do this to your friends’ photos and surprise them or to your own photos. This app uses advanced technology to liven a photo by adding emotions and facial expressions to your photos for a real singing experience. It is easy to use – just choose a photo from your gallery, choose the music, and create the video. You can use any picture you like and any music that you want to appear singing.
Animate Still Images
Avatarify uses advanced AI to animate any still image that you enter into the app. The app doesn’t have any restrictions on the photo you choose as long as it is still. You can get an image on the internet or use any of your old or current photos to create an animated form of that photo. If you are looking to create these animations for fun, you can use photos of celebrities and politicians. You can even animate the photo of a pet so it appears to be talking. The app works in a very simple manner – just upload the photo and add music.
Once you add the photos, you can choose from the available music or record the audio you’d want to match the photo or make the animated faces that you want for the photo. You have to ensure that your face fits in the Mask (the provided frame) so that the facial features can match the image you choose.
After you record yourself, the app will superimpose the recorded video on the uploaded image and create the animation you want. The image you chose will appear to be doing the facial expressions and saying the words you were saying in the recorded video. If you do it perfectly, the animation will look so natural.
A Simple Interface
Avatarify has a clean interface to make it user-friendly. After creating your videos, you can share them with friends and family on social media directly from the app. Although everything seems easy enough, the app can sometimes lag and some features might fail. It offers real-time rendering, but the rendering might not be real-time or clear. Its Mask feature might fail you, causing the animated video to appear off. When it is working perfectly, the app is enjoyable to use.
Still Needs Improvement
Avatarify makes the process of animating faces simple. You do not need expensive software to get the process done and neither do you need technical skills. However, the process is not as smooth as the app promises; it lags and freezes and sometimes fails completely. If you are patient enough, the app will deliver for you. However, when the lagging and the intrusive ads combine, you might find the app annoying. Your animated photos come with a watermark. You can pay for the app to remove the watermark in your future animations.
